i started my work last Monday (18-08-2008) … this is my first ever job. i really hope i can learn lots of things here. anyway i have been with C for four years as a student. So, actually i dont really have something like ‘culture shock’ or watever u wanna call it.
first day at work was pretty okay. didnt do much, didnt have comp account, didnt have a comp, didnt have an email account, and didnt have many more …. talked to new ppl, like ben, xl, roy, and other guys that i have known for some time. yeah, i am quite popular 
… i mean, i know many ppl there 
, those ppl that i know from NUS, NTU, or C … yeah, quite a lot of them. until a colleague commented that first day at work, i have known more ppl than him …. jealous huh :p hahaha jk jk
second day, got my comp account, then tried to get my email account but to no avail … coz they got my name wrong in the first place … so they had to change it again, and needed to wait for approval … everything took time … sianzzz
third day, still so so … read stuff that i have read long time ago .. but yeah, i have forgotten almost everything i would say … so read read read again. then the nice ben taught me lots of things. yeah boss asked him to teach me before he left. coz that week was his last week. i am so sorry ben, i am so being a spoiler … last week of working, still need to face me, who asked so many questions … i hope i didnt annoy u :p
fourth day at work, still the same, get almost all the accounts done after calling IT helpdesk for many times …. i dont know why we need to have so many accounts … and we have to come out with so many passwords, and the passwords are so complicated ones … i forgot a few times, then wat to do? simple, just call IT helpdesk … but seriously, we have so many accounts … i shant elaborate more, pissed me off … for lunch we went to swensen at causeway point, its a farewell lunch for ben, organized by hsiang fang … hahaha
fifth day of work, boss treated us for lunch. its a farewell lunch for ben and hsiang fang, the welcome lunch for xiaolong, sripad (just came back from I), and me, and mom-to-be deb … our boss is just damn smart, combine everything into one … hahah save money huh …
then after work, we went to clark q, had farewell dinner for ben again … drank beer and chivas … BI got drunk …. BI why u so …. haha shall not say it out loud … ellen was dazed for awhile also … luckily i wasnt drunk, a little worried at first, coz that was the first time i drank hard liquor …
